In our class, we meet on the carpet for learning during reading and math lessons. With the funding of this project, each student will have their own dry erase board and writing materials to participate in math and writing activities.
Students can easily practice their writing and math skills in a risk-free, waste-free manner with personal white boards. Students will be able to participate and practice the lesson with immediate feedback given by simply holding up their board. Students will be more eager and excited to try the assignment when they know they can easily wipe away errors and try again. The simplicity of a white board will encourage participation in our classroom lessons.
Additionally, the reusability of the white boards and dry erase pockets will reduce the use of consumable materials in our classroom. This will ultimately save valuable resources and money.
