The chairs in my classroom have always been hand-me-downs and end up breaking. These new chairs will be more comfortable for my students.
Besides the new chairs, I have requested a mini fridge. This is where we will keep food and drink items for the students to enjoy, but to also ensure we are practicing real life occupational therapy skills like twisting caps off water bottles and peeling back individual cups of pudding and applesauce. This will help my students be more independent in life.
The sensory toys and fidget stool will be very helpful for my students who have ADHD and anxiety. Thank you!
