I want to provide students with real world, hands-on experimental activities to get them out of their Chromebooks and back into real life! Their motor, problem solving, and social skills will thank me, and so will their parents! My students will be so excited to use more hands-on materials in science! These materials will help them understand air pressure, make models of molecules, create more artistic projects, and see thermal energy at work. My students often groan when I tell them to get out their Chromebooks. They are eager for more real world, hands-on materials to use for labs! With the materials in this project, they'll get to make a hot air balloon, color pictures of the solar system, observe the heating and cooling of water and land, and explore meteorology with scientific tools. They will be so excited!
