Students will be given the opportunity to independently select their own novel for study during Q4. I have selected novels that will hopefully inspire even the most reluctant readers, to read. I have selected an assessment tool for students to be able to express their understanding through a color coded system. I believe that when students are given ownership over their learning, they are able to learn the most effectively. Inspiration from such novels will help students not only build their confidence but instill in them a love of learning.
