My Project
Having this rug will create a warmer, more inviting space for reading, imagination and discovering .
The rug can be a cozy spot for students to stretch out, lay on their tummies, and enjoy a book during their visit at the library! Students will each have a personal space for reading and listening to a story as a whole group.
Students currently sit on a very old, and thin carpet that is very uncomfortable for them. It is never clear to them where to sit. For most of my students, this is their first experience with a library and it is a joy to see them being able to self-select books based on their personal.
