Due to Covid 19, our students have many gaps in their education. We are still seeing greater absences in our classes. Our students all have specific learning, behavioral and emotional needs (IEP’s). They are often low income and unable to provide basic school supplies. These things combine to be a huge detriment to their educational progress.
Many of our Special Needs Students struggle with organizational skills. We would appreciate these supplies in order to best meet student needs and help fill the gaps in their education. The students would benefit from having additional supplies available to them at school.
Examples of our needs that we are looking for are the following:
Headphones with microphones for students to use speech to text when writings essays.
Pencils, markers, colored pencils, erasers for classwork.
Binders and dividers to keep classroom assignments organized.
Graph paper is needed for graphing they are learning in math class.
Mice to use with Chromebooks in class. The pad is difficult for some students to use.
