I work with a variety of special education students, including bilingual learners. Learning to read includes learning to hear and manipulate sounds, which are made all the more challenging with COVID and masks. My students are struggling with motivation and frustration. I spend many hours designing and creating hands on activities for my students and I am looking for new ways to make learning fun and engaging. These materials will help increase academic skills but also build social, emotional skills as well as students work together to complete the tasks and encourage each other. I am excited to see my student's progress!
