Flexible seating would allow my students to make choices in their seating that would work best for them. It seems as though my students are coming to school these days with having higher anxiety and a lack of attention skills. This is evident in my classroom by the lack of students' ability to sit in their chairs and focus on the instruction. Many of my students are constantly sliding back and forth, standing up and down, and kneeling on the floor during instruction time.
By donating to my project you will be helping my students by giving them additional options for seating to help make their learning more effective. This will be extremely helpful for some students who just need to get their wiggles out.
