These resources will also allow students to participate in the precious experience of animal dissection, that they missed out on when the Covid-19 pandemic first hit. Many students in my zoology class were not given the chance to do a frog dissection when they took biology during the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, so I would like to give them that chance now.
These dissection specimens will give students hands-on experience with dissecting an animal specimen, which will help prepare them for future careers in zoology/biology.
Being able to dissect frogs and sharks will also allow students to learn more about the anatomy and evolution of these two animals by seeing them up close and interpret how the unique structures of the animals help them survive in their specific environments.
