Our students come from a low to middle-income suburban area and this request for basic supplies will help them organize and manage their time while enabling learning and engagement to be optimal.
As a new teacher, my beginning of the year money has not been enough to cover all the aspects of my classroom.
This grant will help my students to work productively when they are strained for resources and have to share instead of having one for themselves. We have sent packets and other essentials home to enable them to utilize their time better in the past and with this grant will continue to do so in the future too.
