Learning to cook is an essential life skill and often school is the only time students have the ingredients, time, and instruction to practice their cooking skills.
This technology will allow me to film short tutorials in addition to written recipes and demonstrations, and add subtitles in additional languages to cater to students in Special education as well as those with English as a second language.
Watching short/step-by-step demonstration tutorials will provide immediate interactive learning opportunities for students that are available to review and use during class and from home.
This project will reach students with a range of learning needs and improve student achievement and understanding.
