Having hands on material for the students to practice their math skills will help motivate our students to learn and be successful. The students will be able to deepen their understanding on what we are learning by providing them with a hands-on experience. The math manipulatives will also provide our students an exciting way to learn math and practice their math skills.
Our students will be able to use the LCD tablets to help then with basic math facts. The LCD tablets will help engage the students. The students will be excited to use other material other than paper and pencil.
The number blocks will help the younger students with number recognition. It will also help our students with adding and subtracting. This will help them understand the concepts that we are learning while having fun. Hands-on material is a great way for our students to learn instead of only using paper and pencil. I want to try to engage in the students that I work with in the best way possible.
