The materials requested (Magna-Tiles, activity mats, emotion mirrors, sorting sets, a timer, and more) will support my students transitioning in the classroom, as well as, work on their fine motor skills and social-emotional skills. We will work on identifying feelings and describing them. We will use a timer for students to know when it's time to transition at school. We will also practice sorting shapes, sizes, and colors with some of the materials chosen in this project.
I am very excited about the opportunity to try some of these materials in my classroom with my preschool students. I can already imagine their happy faces when I show them what we received.
