A color printer with extra ink cartridges will allow the Biology classes to print materials in color for instruction and investigations, increasing student engagement and understanding. Students will be able to print in color for hands-on learning projects as well. Poster board in a variety of colors will allow students to make engaging presentations of the materials with which they are interacting. We live in color and we learn in color. Bringing color options into the instructional process helps students remember what they are learning. Using modeling clay helps bring biology concepts into 3D reality for my students. After nearly 2-years of interrupted learning due to the pandemic, my students are ready to close that learning gap through non-digital, interactive learning.
