We lovingly call our third grade classroom 鈥淭he Coffee House.鈥 Creating a cozy and heartwarming environment for my students, to let them know that they are loved and cherished, is of utmost importance to me. I am kindly requesting that you help me take this plan one step further by helping me provide my students with several flexible seating options, including a futon and coffee table, and alternative lighting sources. Regardless of the COVID pandemic that continues to rage on, I want to ensure that when my students walk into my classroom that they feel a sense of being 鈥渉ome鈥. In my classroom no child will leave hungry, they will know they have a safe place, and they will be given the confidence to know that they are loved and that they belong! TOGETHER, I believe WE can help meet the lower level needs of my third grade students in rural Oklahoma.
