The best way to learn history is to picture yourself a part of it! I have a lot of students and not a lot of supplies. I'm trying to earn funds for a basic necessity in my classroom. I would love to be able to get more students engaged during lessons as well as do more group work. It is difficult when we have to support our own classroom supplies. COVID has negatively impacted my students both socially and emotionally.I am ordering items that are needed to keep students motivated during class.I teach 11th and 12th grade students. A lot of them come from low-income households, and work outside of the home. School is a haven for them. They consistently show up everyday to class and try their best. The main goal of this project is to provide different ways of presenting learning options. I want to build a class that is not only safe but inviting, especially as my students and I navigate learning in a pandemic. My school has the best students in the state of Oklahoma. Our students are kind and generous and are always striving to be the Best of the Best. So many times I have to buy supplies for my classroom and I don’t get to spend my money on my family. These supplies will help my students directly .
