I am requesting a 3D printer and filament needed to create magnificent projects. The uses for 3D printing across various subjects is infinite!
Since this will be used for our entire K-8 building, not only will students get to experience the magic of bringing an idea to life in 3D for a single year, but they will also get to build on the experiences as they advance! Third-grade teachers can make area and perimeter come to life by creating mini-houses that the students have to figure out how much paint is needed to decorate a room and the amount of fence needed to go around the perimeter.
First-grade teachers can bring Native American homes into the classroom for students to study why different homes might have been built differently. Middle school students can create brochures explaining how to use the printer, the benefits of using it, and persuade others to buy one through brainstorming various projects!
Why live your educational life in 2D when you can make it 3D?! This will make education even more hands on and exhilerating! Let's bring the future into our small k-8 rural building!
