As an occupational therapist in the Washington County School District, I get to work with a variety of children ranging from very mild cognitive delays to very involved physical disabilities. My caseload is up to about 65 and I am stretched thin on materials and time with these children.
This project will help them increase their independence and access to the academic curriculum through fine motor activities. I will also use this project to 3D print individualized devices or items for my students. If this project is approved these items will go a long way in helping my kiddos succeed at their IEP goals and have a little fun along the way.
