The disconnect from school has separated students from math tools such as calculators. They think everything is done on their phones and we need calculators to help learn the math content. There are keys that are not available on their phones or their phones do not efficiently accelerate their grasp of the content so these devices will help students learn and check their understanding. Not everyone has a calculator and some will share to complete their work. These donations will help tremendously. Some have not used one in 2 years.
