Because our AP English classes rely very heavily on discussions of the literary and rhetorical analyses we do, students are often reading a variety of novels or non-fiction, either independently or as a whole class or in small groups.
After 2 years of Covid protocols for distancing and primarily large group discussions of our books, my students are so excited to be back to having small group book studies again!
The intense study and analysis that comes with these small group discussions have proven to be very beneficial to passing the AP exams, and expanding our title selection will allow students more choice in the material they use for these assignments.
