My students have struggled socially and emotionally this year. They are first grade, so their Pre-K and Kindergarten years were spent mostly doing online learning due to the pandemic. They did not get the foundation that comes with being in-person for those years. They are still learning important social skills and how to recognize and understand emotions. These materials (prompts, matching games, and conversation starters) will help give them the tools to recognize how they feel and why they feel that way, and they will help lead us in conversation on how to best deal with these emotions.

About my class
