My students lack motivation. After COVID they seem to need additional support. They come in to class hungry. Over half of the students are from low-income households. Food seems to help them be more motivated.
An air purifier would help keep the air clean. Our room needs fresher air. It is often stuffy in here.
COVID has been hard on my students motivation. It has also impacted their mental health. They are lacking resilience. I believe snacks will help to keep them going. Math is a difficult subject for some. Snacks help them feel like I am a nurturing teacher.
