These resources will allow me to advance our calm corner and to have more comfort at our teacher table for hands on activities. The stools and bean bags will be used as flexible seating at teacher table to stimulate my students to want to learn and get excited for the material. The easel paper will allow me to make more interesting notes for our units to get the students engaged in what is to come. The games are great resources to use in centers to make things more exciting and engaging for students rather than just work sheets. Also, the manipulative resources are great ways to get the students engaged in small or whole group lessons to allow them to really grasp the lesson and standard we are working on at that moment. The social emotional books will be used in the classroom as a tool in the calm corner to allow the student to be fully aware of what they are feeling and have time to calm down, especially with everything that has taken place due to COVID-19.
