My selected materials are not all related to one specific project, but to many. I teach multiple science classes. My students are from a very rural area, many of them are used to working, moving, and using their hands. I've found the best way that they learn is by using their hands! My classes have missed out on a lot of hands-on learning the past couple of years, I want to make sure they have the opportunity to get it in my classes.
I'm always looking for ways to help my students learn without them realizing they are learning. The more fun the more learning. For example, right now I am teaching my biology class about physiology and anatomy. At the end of this unit I want them to be able to dissect something and see the actual organs (hence the organisms). The other materials are STEM supplies for hands-on labs, group projects, and games to keep my classroom engaging and exciting. This will be benefit me as an educator and my students immensely. Thank you for generosity in offering teachers and students support!!
