Currently, my students compose on paper or share 2 giant magnetic music staves. Individual magnetic music staff boards would allow them to explore and experiment more easily and then notate their final decision on paper, saving on paper and letting the students work more quickly. Having 30 would allow some students to work in groups and some to work individually. (My classes range from 24-38 students).
The music boards and magnets will let the students create and recreate! The colorful magnets correspond with music notes to allow easy composing (and easy cleaning), especially for my 1st and 2nd graders. The markers will be used primarily by my 3rd and 4th graders.
