We are implementing PCBL projects as opportunities for students to recover math credit they are missing! These supplies will directly increase instruction effectiveness and allow students to demonstrate competency in dynamic ways.
The robotics kit will allow student designs to come to life, gain some coding experience, and model mathematics! The geometry molds help students visualize the relationship between volumes of solids, which is a potential project!
For current students who don't need to recover credit (hopefully), the whiteboards will be so useful in helping them share their ideas with their teammates! The magnetic, dry-erase graph mats will allow students to describe, graph, and model functions. The larger whiteboard will mount behind our projector so students can write their ideas on the board through challenging lesson problems.
