I will use these games as a teaching tool during math game days to reinforce more abstract mathematical concepts. They will also be available to students during choice times and during indoor recess times (New England winters are icy!). Students will have fun while practicing important mathematical thinking skills, and forging relationships with their peers.
My students love to play, and they certainly learn best when that is what they are doing! Students may be able to "check out" games from our game library, to take home and continue developing these math skills with their families at home. Family engagement is key.
