I am the physical education teacher and teach students a variety of games. Since Covid has people social distancing, the school has not been able to have fundraisers for gym equipment. I would like to teach students the game of Hockey and have scrimmage vests they can use for all games.
Trying a new sport is extremely beneficial for both your body and your mind. Students play a lot of sports except hockey. Hockey requires a high level of coordination; regularly playing can develop a child's gross motor skills, which leads to improvement with the more difficult fine motor skills, and improves eye-hand coordination, which can translate to a better understanding of spatial relationships.
Students will gain confidence, increase concentration, stimulate creativity, and develop problem-solving skills.
