Research has shown that students learn content better using play based learning. Children should use play, both within lessons and between lessons, because that is the best way for a kindergartener to grasp difficult concepts.
Kindergarten play based learning provides the opportunity to learn and practice content skills in a way that traditional instruction often ignores.
Requested items will be used to address the many deficiencies that students have and the many obstacles they have had to face due to Covid and quarantining during the last two years.
I am requesting skill based games, activities and puzzles. Play based learning helps children develop social skills, motivation to learn, and language and numeracy skills. When children play with other children, they learn to cooperate, communicate and engage with their peers in a way that ensures they feel part of their young community.
