My classroom is always set up with themed units. The tents, camping gear, and books will be used during our Camp Read-a-Lot Day where all students in grades Pre-K through 5th will be reading. My students will read in the tents with their book buddies and camping items will be used in the dramatic play area. The camping theme will be used for the entire week and can be incorporated into other units during the year. The classic stories included in this project will help my students with literacy skills.
