My plan is to add to my classroom library by including high interest low level books for the children to check out, take home and read. If students want to read, they are more likely to read. The more you read, the better reader you become. I'd like to get more books they enjoy to take home. One of my biggest hurdles with struggling readers is the motivation to do something difficult. As you know good readers, find joy in reading. I'd like for more of my students to find that joy.
