In my classroom, my students receive specialized Dyslexia therapy which requires intensive immersion with their learning environment. Interactive doodle boards will allow them to add one more multisensory element to their learning. These boards will encourage participation with an artistic component, yet still allow them to engage in the much needed therapy sessions.
As a frugal teacher, I often reuse student materials for as many school years and students as possible! My students will greatly benefit from new, more functional materials for the organization of their Dyslexic program necessities as their current equipment is greatly deteriorating.
As I am working with young children, play continues to be an integral aspect of their learning. New playdough is not only great for fine motor development but also encourages their imagination to run wild!
