The microphone and sound system will help me to project my voice while I am teaching. I am already a soft spoken teacher, but with wearing a mask it has gotten softer. I hope to keep my students safe and engaged by using this microphone to project my voice. The alphabet rug is special because it will create a safe and cozy space for my students reading area.
Seating is also very important in a classroom.
The wobble chairs will help students who have ADHD or the students who just love to move around while working hard. Some students would rather not sit at a desk all day, which is understandable. The surf desks will help students during independent work time or instruction time to have a fun desk to use.
I also added blocks to this project. The different types of blocks would help our class have a stem center. These blocks will also be great for my students to use when they need a brain break or when they get done with breakfast in the morning.
The erasers will help my students have a clean slate when they make mistakes on their work. I have a diverse group of students, so the skin color crayons will give my students the representation they need to create and color pictures of themselves or other characters they look up too.
