Currently, my students have to share a music stand with a stand partner, because we do not have enough stands that work properly. With the continuing spread of COVID-19, a student that has their own stand will help create more spacing between their neighbor in the ensemble.
If every student has a music stand that can properly function, that is a basic essential that will not interfere with learning in rehearsals, or their performance.
With the growth of my programs, the need has grown for more music stands. Because our music stands have had to be used outside and for other classes, the quality of them has diminished over time. If I receive more stands, not as many students would not have to share stands and I can have stands dedicated to being used in the bleachers for Basketball and Football games.
