Fractions make up almost half of what fourth-graders need to know and are used in their everyday lives! What better way to learn fractions than to be able to make and create some with your very own set of fractions tiles! My students love to work hands-on and with only one set of fraction tiles for 75 students in my classroom, they have a hard time getting a chance to use them while learning. Using the Fraction tiles from lake shore will allow my students to build and create fractions with ease. My students have an indescribable love for math, and I feel an urgency to nurture that love by creating an encouraging environment to excel.
