The books I have selected are books that my students have been asking for. As a reading teacher, I feel it is very important for students to have access to books they want to read for their enjoyment. Learning to love reading is a passion I want to instill in my students. While reading these books in class or at home they will be able to apply what I have taught them about story elements and comprehension, as well as expanding their vocabulary all while reading a book that they chose to read!
