I provide Tier III reading intervention for the lowest 20% of readers and writers in first grade. We are a small school in Northern New Hampshire with a population of 200 students in grades K-6. We have limited financial resources compared to the other elementary school in the area and these schools both feed into the same high school. I would like to see our students afforded similar educational opportunities so they are on a more level playing field when entering middle school.
