My students needs lots of hands on materials such as the dry erase boards to practice essential skills including writing their name, alphabet and numbers. While learning these skills, they will be able to transfer this into their interactive play with other students using a light table and accessories. They can continue attaching math skills with the cash register in the pretend center. This will build their social-emotional skills as well as the light table and pretend centers are highly engaging at this age.
Students will also be able to engage with others at the design center to build their STEM skills while playing and building their social-emotional skills.
Students further engage in interactive large and small group games as they build their pre-reading skills of rhythm with the instruments and egg shakers. This will extend to using the bean bags to build small and gross motor skills that will aid in their writing abilities.
