I believe flexible seating is important amid the pandemic because many students have an even more difficult time sitting and focusing during classroom instruction. Students out of a classroom setting for a long time might not have had the routine and structure at home that a classroom provides during the day. I want to offer my students different seating choices because I want them to be able to move and wiggle if necessary. I want them to feel comfortable in whatever kind of seat best stimulates their learning and keeps them engaged.
