COVID-19 has really taken play away from my kids. Play dates and extra curricular activities have all been cut back. Play is a vital part of learning. These items will not only help my students academically but they allow students to engage with each other using play. These items will be used in literacy tubs, where students will enjoy practicing their sight words, handwriting, and building sentences. For math, these items will help students create patterns, practice sorting, and counting. These items will also be used in STEM to help students build and create, tear down and re-build. Light tables bring ordinary tasks into tasks students "Light" up about!

About my class
