With items like comfortable seating, noise canceling headphones, and fidgets: I will be able to create a space in that students can go to relax and regroup. The pandemic has created added emotional stress to an age group of students who are still learning regulate emotions. The funding for this project will create a safe space in my classroom to help with those big emotions. Pre-k students need a space in the classroom to move away from the added stimulus and listen to soothing sounds, or touch a soft pillow! Funding this project will create that space in my class.
