We started our Esports program last year and only had 24 kids in it. This year we have blown up and currently have 94 kids in the high school program alone. We are in need of expanding our equipment in order to efficiently allow our kids more time to compete. At this moment we have to use time slots in order to allow all kids the ability to get to play.
During the pandemic of Covid we have been in a state of survival in our Esports program. My kids have been bringing their own devices and TV's up on the weekends so we have enough equipment to all compete. When the numbers first started rising at the beginning of the year we could not even get machines in due to the pandemic. Now that there is availability the budget we set aside has slowly dwindled as the school year progresses.
