This project will provide a safe and calming place in my classroom. It will allow my students to have an environment where they can relax and calm down when/if needed. A calming station is used where students can go and help regulate their emotions. This project will also provide new sensory-safe items for my classroom. Sensory items are needed to help improve and regulate focus and participation. Having these items on hand will help create a successful learning environment. This project will implement both emotional and social learning skills.
