Math STEM activities are a great way to encourage students to "Think Outside the Box" while learning, and also help to reinforce the skill being taught or remediated.
The students will enjoy being able to explore and create hands-on math problems and equations that are incorporated with my math skill lesson. This will allow me time to make their learning relevant and hands-on; while I will be remediating and helping other students who have struggled during COVID-19. Overall, this will give students the opportunity to reinforce or advance their Math skills!
Using these math manipulatives (art and craft supplies, legos, magnetic building sticks, hand2mind math kit, Magna-Tiles, 3-D geo figures, dice, etc.). These materials will be used to incorporate into mini-STEM boxes so that each student has the opportunity to explore and learn during math rotations. My students will be excited to discover Mini Math Bins and the hidden lessons inside!
