The materials will make a huge impact in my students lives by helping them be able to get a hands on math experience while still social distancing. The materials will be used in the classroom while each student is able to stay in their own space and enhance their learning capabilities. Each student will be able to have their own set with the materials provided and will be able to follow along with my instruction. These materials will greatly be appreciated and make a wonderful impact on my students lives.
Each day during whole group my students could use dry erase boards to help them follow along with my lesson and show me their work. This would allow me to assess the students needs as well. The fractions tiles and games would be wonderful hands on ways for my students to get to use what they have learned. The fraction tiles would help my students have the chance to visualize each fraction they see on a book and better understand the value of decimals.
