Due to the pandemic, kids all over the nation and especially in my classroom are facing many different types of learning loss- not just in core subjects, but also socially and emotionally. My goal is to help close the learning gap in all areas. I requested new reading materials to help strengthen their reading skills with a wide variety of options and skill sets. Many of my students are lacking in social and emotional skills- providing them with resources and teaching them healthy ways to cope with their feelings is a good start to teaching them life long skills they need.

About my class
