During the pandemic, it will be helpful to have this resource so that students who have to attend virtually due to COVID-19 can still create their digital designs and feel connected to their class. Then, when returning to class they can apply their designs to their product.
This resource will allow me to incorporate a hands-on approach, which research has shown can lead to a better understanding of complex concepts. This will allow students to feel a sense of accomplishment and mastery of a skill.
This resource will allow students to create designs to use on food, fabric, wood, glass, metal, and a variety of other materials. This resource will help students’ social, emotional, and mental well-being by allowing them to “make” something they created and designed themselves.
