COVID-19 has made us push more towards technology. I don’t want my children attention deprived because they always want to watch or play on the television or iPad! I want my kids to go back to the hands on learning that I remember! It’s more fun and 100% helps with their fine motor skills! Fine motor skills are lacking these days because children do less manipulating with their hands tinkering with toys and more time pushing buttons on an iPad or game! Hands on learning is so much more beneficial!! The manipulatives I have chosen, things like magnetic letter, word locks, counting games, adn engineering designs, will help the children build fine motor skills while also learning hands on!
