Math is made up of numbers and abstract thinking. My students struggle with motivation and confidence because grasping something they can't visualize isn't easy for their brains. I want to have the ability to make it hands on and visually help my students expand their understanding of math. Most importantly, I want them to see progress in their learning and grow.
I want to see my students grow in their confidence which will help them grow as people.
Since the loss of consistent in person learning and emotional stress due to covid students are behind in their learning. My students especially since they take a little more repetition and concrete ways of learning to take hold of the knowledge. These flash cards, math games and other hands-on manipulatives will help them learn the math, but most importantly give them the conceptual understanding they can know how to apply in their life, and catch up or make more growth since this whole pandemic.
