Students meet regularly with me in the back for story time, whole group phonics lesson, visual math lessons and other curriculum needs.
This carpet would be an added resource that can help my students learn how to space themselves from each other while interacting with the teacher during the learning process. My students love learning and the carpet is s place where they can not only learn but feel connected to each other in the classroom.
First graders are learning many things as they begin their educational journey and a classroom carpet would benefit them beyond the learning process as well. The carpet can be used for quiet reading time for fast finishers or place to sit when the class has guest speakers. Young students need to recognize personal space and this resource is perfect for helping develop this concept.
